Ciao Florence: Week Thirteen

This week was departure from Florence and a few days being home. Just the day before we left it still didn't feel real. As we ran around doing last minute souvenir shopping for family and friends back home we couldn't get over the feeling that it was just another average day in Italy. Even so there we were the next day, after having stayed up all night for out 3:50am taxi call, in the airport about to board for our first flight to Munich before our transfer flight to LAX. The night before leaving we said our goodbyes to Silvia and Giuditta and had a very family warming meal. Silvia helped us make sure our luggage wouldn't be a problem before driving us out to our friends where we said our last goodbyes because being awake at 3 am just to say bye would be ridiculous. As you could imagine we all cried. We didn't stay out very long but we all hung out at the steps of Santa Croce one last time. unfortunately I have no photos to share this time as all of my technology is giving out on me so I can post until Lightroom loads enough for me to upload and edit the photos I took the last week! Keep an eye out for the photos and hopefully I can get them up within the week!
