This week has been hellish in that all the major projects have finally been due and turned in this week. The closer we get to our departure the more stress we have I feel like. But even though I've had, and still have, plenty to do for school to keep me busy, I needed to take part in the optional trips to Pisa and Lucca. The Palazzo Pitti Museum was covered by the school and was a field trip during one of my classes so I was going no matter what. Many people skipped out of Pisa and Lucca though, because of the stress of papers due just a few days later. If you plan on going to the well known museums in Florence try to go the first Sunday of the month and you'll have free admission. It should definitely help you if you're trying to keep a tight budget since normal admission into the Uffizi is 20 euros. Its gotten cloudy and weirdy rainy this week but it allowed for some pretty good lighting for portraits of friends I've made on this trip! Just the last two days the days start off fine when suddenly we've got pouring rain with thunder and lightning. For some they may not like it but I'm loving it!
